Group President, Construction

Ken began his association with Wight & Company as a client. He was the officer in charge of the design and construction of the US Navy’s $63 million Bachelor Enlisted Quarters project at the Great Lakes Naval Station. Upon completion of his military service, Ken joined Wight Construction as a project manager.

His leadership and keen business acumen quickly advanced Ken to the position of Group President for Wight Construction, where he leads a staff of 40 employees and project teams of up to 100 members. Ken is proficient in fostering a sense of collaboration and teamwork while leading project teams comprised of multiple disciplines.

Ken is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers and the Design-Build Institute of America. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oakland University in Rochester, Mich., and is a graduate of the Navy Civil Engineer Corps Officer School.
