Patrick E. Cermak

President, Chief Operating Officer

With nearly 30 years of experience in the building industry, Patrick Cermak began his career in business development and has expanded it to his current role as President and Chief Operating Officer at Wight & Company.

He is responsible for the daily operations of Wight’s three offices, 150 employees and an extensive client list that reaches across northern Illinois and Indiana. Pat holds a significant role in the business development efforts of the sales team at Wight by assisting with client relations, business strategy and internal project team management. His meticulous attention to clients and their needs have resulted in multiple long-term relationships. A few of Pat’s key clients at Wight include: City of Chicago, State of Illinois, Illinois Tollway, Lewis University and Valley View Community Unit School District 365U.

In addition to his leadership role at Wight, Pat is a member of the Design-Build Institute of America, CoreNet Global and the City Club of Chicago. Pat earned a Bachelors of Arts in Education from Benedictine University.
