Our summer internship program equips college students with hands-on project experience and personalized mentoring.
Architecture, engineering, and construction students who participate in an internship at Wight & Company gain valuable opportunities to develop their skills and learn from diverse professionals across the firm.
The comprehensive experience includes contributing as full members of project teams, learning technical and client relationship skills, and building valuable relationships with other interns through ongoing networking and recreational activities. Interns also get a first-hand opportunity to experience the unique culture and values of Wight & Company.
Our interns rank the experience as extremely valuable in shaping their career. Many of them choose to return to Wight & Company for multiple years or are hired as full-time employees after they graduate. In fact, Kevin Havens, Executive Vice President and Director of Design, began his career as the firm’s first student intern in 1973.
