Wight & Company Names Three Senior Team Members to Vice President

Wight & Company, a leading Design & Delivery firm, announced it has promoted three of its senior staff members to the position of Vice President. Jason Dwyer, AIA, LEED AP, has been promoted to Vice President/Senior Project Executive. Dwyer has more than 18 years of experience in design and construction. He has focused on many different building types including justice, educational, industrial and commercial/office projects, as well as developmental land planning. He maintains a strong focus on sustainable design and has been involved in the delivery of several LEED Gold certified projects and a LEED Platinum certified project. With a proven expertise in public sector projects, Dwyer has also demonstrated success in developing exceptional public use spaces. Most recently, he served as Project Executive and has been instrumental in winning and executing projects for the firm. Dwyer earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. 

James Nagle, LEED AP, and Leanne Meyer-Smith, AIA, LEED AP, have also been named Vice President. Both are industry professionals with more than 25 years in the architecture, engineering and construction fields. Nagle previously served as Project Executive for Wight & Company and will continue in this role, with responsibility for the execution of a variety of public and private design and construction projects. He is well versed in all phases of project development and delivery, with an emphasis on leading large, complex projects. He has particular expertise working with clients engaged in renovation and expansion projects to minimize impact on operations. Nagle joined Wight & Company in 2007. He earned his BA at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his Masters of Building Science and Management at Clemson University.

Meyer-Smith joined Wight & Company in 2009 and served most recently as Senior Project Manager for the firm. She has a broad range of experience that includes building design, facility analysis, master planning, construction administration, and project management. Her portfolio includes both new construction and renovation for a variety of educational, municipal, religious, and commercial clients. Meyer-Smith has been instrumental in winning work for Wight & Company and has garnered accolades from virtually every client she has served. She earned both her BS in Architectural Studies and Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
