The tenant build-out was focused on supporting LEECO’s sales operation. The space planning solution features sales manager workspaces flanking the perimeter, while the sales staff is centrally located adjacent to their managers. We maximized daylight to bring as much light as possible to the interior workstations. Due to tight budget constraints, over 75 percent of existing lighting and ceiling systems were maintained so as not to trigger new energy code compliance issues.
A completely new furniture solution helps to foster an environment fit for a highly focused sales team, while also providing spaces for celebration and repose. For example, a Wii station and a place to simply read a book can both be found within the new workplace. We addressed conferencing in a variety of ways, from a formal boardroom to a semi-enclosed “collaborative pit.” Branding was also a key piece of the new space, so the creative incorporation of steel, such as in the form of a custom reception desk, was included.
