LaSalle Network, the leading provider of professional staffing and recruiting services in the Chicagoland area, selected Wight & Company to provide interior design services for its new headquarters office. The client wanted to create an open, efficient space that would foster communication and express the firm’s brand and corporate culture. An important component of the scheme was the separation between the open workspace and the “front of house” where client recruitment and interviews take place. The workspace, which includes writable walls, is filled with benching style work-tables for collaboration. In the evenings, the reception area flat screens are used for Wii tournaments supporting employee engagement. In contrast, client interactions are held in a strongly branded environment found in the reception and private interview rooms.
