The Village of New Lenox hired Wight to provide construction management services for the Village Hall for New Lenox. The new facility is a part of the Village Commons - home to the New Lenox Public Library, an outdoor performing arts amphitheater, and a park. Because New Lenox is the “Home of Proud Americans,” the design firm of FGM Architects selected a Colonial Williamsburg style of architecture for the new Village Hall. Wight’s services for this award-winning facility included oversight of all fabrication, construction, and installation efforts. The project features intricate woodworking and cabinetry, a dramatic domed rotunda with two circular staircases, and terrazzo floors.
