Jeffrey Washington brings to this position more than three decades of experience managing complex projects in the pursuit of engineering excellence. He has completed over 100 construction projects in his career, including critical projects for the Eisenhower, Stevenson and Dan Ryan Expressways. In 2007, Jeffrey was named as the Engineer of the year the state of Illinois, both Statewide and in District 1.
Jeffrey brings to his work a belief that diversity in the industry has greatly evolved over the past 34 years at every level, from inspectors, to resident engineers, to directors, to the Secretary of Transportation as well as to owners of consultant firms and construction companies. He seeks to use this opportunity to continue to create a more inclusive industry for the next generation of transportation professionals.
