Director of Operations, Transportation & Infrastructure

Mark Holwerda brings two decades of experience delivering complex transportation and infrastructure projects for public-sector clients across the Chicago region. As Director of Operations, he leads multidisciplinary construction engineering teams, oversees large project portfolios, and partners closely with clients to advance high‑priority roadway, bridge, and corridor improvements.

Mark has supported major regional initiatives—including large interchange programs, roadway and bridge reconstructions, and extensive arterial improvement efforts—providing strategic guidance, field oversight, and collaborative problem‑solving to keep projects on track.

A licensed Professional Engineer and LEED AP, Mark holds an MBA from Loyola University Chicago and a BS in Engineering from Calvin University. He is active in industry organizations including IRTBA and ACEC Illinois.
