Wight provided design and construction management services to modernize 84,000 sf of the City of Chicago’s offices (City Hall), in a multi-phased remodeling of six floors to demolish existing conditions and provide a new, open-plan environment.
The current space was brought up-to-date using new, modern workplace standards with enhanced technology and more collaborative team environments. The work included asbestos abatement, upgrades to current mechanical systems, and a blended (reused and new) furniture package.
