The Chicago Department of Transportation selected Wight to perform sustainability and landscape design services for the development of the City of Chicago’s most comprehensive sustainable streetscape design. The project consisted of two connected street segments totaling over two miles. The project is an unprecedented demonstration of how cutting-edge sustainable design and “complete streets” principles can be implemented in the public right of way.
