Wight designed and constructed a new Village Hall, for the Village of Elwood, to include a police station and new shared space for village offices, community meetings, and council chambers.
The police station component included an interrogation room, holding cells, and a conference room.
Simultaneous to the Village Hall project, the Village of Elwood asked that we take over as construction manager on a new roadway project outside of the hall. We were able to streamline both projects with a single point of contact, which led to cost savings for the client.
The project was constructed in one year and completed under budget.
