Construction is bustling this spring at the new Willowbrook Wildlife Center Visitor’s Center! We've recently achieved two significant milestones: the completion of geothermal drilling and vertical loop installation for the ground-sourced heating and cooling systems. Additionally, we've installed a new roof made of wood mass timber, which will reduce embodied carbon. These achievements are crucial elements of the sustainability and zero-energy goals for this project. As we press forward into the summer, we look forward to seeing the new Visitor Center come to life!
