Designed to support modern, career-focused learning, the project balances the character of the school's early 20th century collegiate gothic architecture with the functional demands of contemporary culinary education.

Historic elements, including wood trim details, terrazzo flooring, tile wainscots, and window muntins, were carefully preserved and integrated alongside modern kitchen equipment, advanced ventilation systems, and upgraded technology infrastructure. Strategic use of glazing throughout the renovated corridor provides visibility into the culinary labs, creating an engaging environment that showcases student learning and program opportunities.

The project also transformed underutilized space into a flexible demonstration classroom featuring a fully equipped teaching kitchen. Designed for culinary instruction, guest chef presentations, events, and hospitality-focused learning, the space supports a wide range of educational opportunities while fostering collaboration and innovation.
