Senior Vice President, Chief Development Officer

As Chief Development Officer, with emphasis in Public Sector Markets, Brad plays an instrumental role in the evolution and growth of Wight & Company. With experience in all aspects of school capital improvement programs, he has a particular focus on the PK-12 Education Market and participates in the early planning stages and community engagement for major projects. With the help of Wight’s PK-12 Education Leadership Team, Brad works to assure that the knowledge, solutions, successful results, and best practices in school design are brought to each client’s unique challenge.

As a past 12-year member of his local board of education, he brings unique insight into the delicate balance between student learning, capital programs, fiscal responsibility, and the importance of engaging the community; and has helped districts achieve success through his 25-year career at Wight. With this background, Brad also co-founded and serves as an advisor in Wight’s consulting group Beyond Your Base® (BYB). Along with the BYB team, he provides strategic oversight for the group’s vision, strategy, development, and service offerings for public sector clients to help them gain public support for a broad range of facility improvements and investments.
